“Vote Like Black Women ™ ” is more than a phrase or brand, it is a call to action for us all to be more civically engaged, unselfish and active voters like the most reliable, persistent, consistent and selfless voting group America has ever seen, Black Women.

Black Women outperform every other demographic in voter turnout, and election after election they vote overwhelmingly for candidates and causes that are equitable, justice focused and supportive of disenfranchised groups and communities in need. 

What is most powerful about Black Women and their voting tendencies is that they show up no matter the obstacles they face time after time.  From suffrage to the civil rights era to today's restrictive access to polls and voter roll purges, Black women show up to vote time and time again. Our Democracy would not be what it is today without the contributions and the votes of Black Women. 

We need to do more than just thank and rely on Black women, we need to follow their lead and lighten the load. In a time where people want to look, dress and sound like Black women, what we really need is for more people to Vote Like Black Women ™. 

Proceeds from every sale will go to a Black woman led, non-partisan non-profits looking to increase civic engagement and/or voter turnout.
